Leslie
Davis
January 14, 1962 – March 13, 2021
Leslie Davis was born and raised in Bridgeton, New Jersey to the late Shirley Ruth Davis and the late James Gross on January 14, 1962. She transitioned from this earthly life peacefully surrounded by family on March 12, 2021. She was educated within the Bridgeton School District where she earned her high school diploma. Upon graduation, she participated in various adult day programs for the developmentally disabled. For the past two decades, Leslie was an active participant of the Easterseals Adult Training and Community Inclusion Programs, Millville, New Jersey.
Leslie was sweet natured, friendly and kind with an infectious smile who loved to be around people. Anyone who knew her would often see this beautiful smile, especially when asking to go to a fast food restaurant that she claimed "she haven't been to in a long time". She indulged in being included within her community. Leslie enjoyed traveling, attending church and watching her favorite television channel BET or the sitcoms, "Good Times", "The Jeffersons" and "7th Heaven". She was also very camera friendly. She delighted in posing for pictures and would take advantage at any opportunity to shop at Walmart and dine out. Her favorite pastimes were coloring and completing Word Finds. Leslie will forever be remembered being the happiest when at social gatherings around family and celebrating her birthdays.
Leslie leaves to cherish her memories three brothers, Brian Johnson of Millville, NJ, Michael Johnson of New Castle, Delaware, Troy Johnson (Sandra) of Bridgeton, NJ, one aunt Gladys Davis of Hopewell, NJ, one uncle Rev. Leonard Davis of Dallas, TX, three nephews, five nieces, one grandniece, a host of cousins and loving friends. Leslie will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was predeceased by her brother Edward Kevin Davis.
