June 8, 1935 – April 30, 2019
Lester Eugene John Pitts was born to the late Lester and Dorothy Pitts, Sr. in Atglen, PA.
At an early age Lester met Dolores Goldsboro who became his lifelong devoted companion. He was a lifelong resident of Salem County, New Jersey. Lester worked as a mechanic for Earnest Pitts and other various jobs throughout the course of his life.
Lester enjoyed shooting darts, playing pool, dancing to oldies, fishing, socializing with family and friends and took great pride in cleaning and adorning his cars.
Lester is survived by five sisters – Patricia Pace (George) of Pennsville, Paulette and Pamela of Quinton Township; Carol Wells (Harry) of Bridgeton; Annette Craig of Capitol Heights, MD. One brother, Douglas of Quinton Township. Sister-in-Law Marie Pitts of Bridgeton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lester was predeceased by his companion Dolores Goldsboro, parents Lester and Dorothy; Four brothers Chouncey, Wesley, Anthony and Ralph; Sisters-in-law Naomi and Helen Pitts.
During Lester's recent illness, he accepted the Lord as his personal savior.
