Lewis Patrick Toole, 60 departed this life on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Inspira Medical Center, in Vineland, NJ. He was born on April 21, 1965, in Vineland, NJ to Dorothy N. Toole and Lewis S. Greensberry.
He was raised and accepted Christ at St. Paul Baptist Church in Vineland. Lewis graduated from Vineland High School in 1984. Shortly after high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Army, where he served for 6 years. He met his wife, Tina C. (Rosario) Toole, in February 1982 and they married March 15, 1986, at St. James Baptist Church in Norma, NJ. Lewis and Tina enjoyed 40 years of marriage.
After leaving the military, Lewis worked several jobs, including the Salem Nuclear Plant and Gerrsheimer Glass Factory in Millville as a security supervisor until he became ill in 2016.
Lewis served proudly when he was in the army and often related stories of his adventures and how he served with the 160th Task Force in Ft. Campbell, KY. He loved and listened to all types of music and shared his interest with his children and grandchildren. His biggest joy was being a grandfather to his two grandchildren.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Tina C. (Rosario) Toole, two daughters, Sheree A. Toole and Janay M. Toole both of Vineland; two grandchildren Jonah Lewis and Isabella Serrano. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy N. Toole, his siblings, Tracy Toole and Kim (Gary) Myrie all of Vineland, Alvin Greensberry of Texas, Janice Brown, Vera Ann Greensberry of Louisiana, Valerie Greensberry of Florida and Murry Greensberry of New Jersey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Lewis also leaves to cherish his memory of 3 special friends that he considered his brothers, Damon Kimes, David Brown and Conway Ames.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis S. Greensberry.
