Lisa M. Maxey-Leverett age 56 departed this life on May 30, 2022.  She was born in Cape May Court House on January 28, 1965 to King Batie, Jr. and Lessie M. Schaffer.

She was a veteran of the US Army and employed as a Correction Officer at Southern State Correctional Facility.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jorge J. Leverett; son, Dequan Cheavers; daughter, Andasia Maxey; step children, Shabri Davis and Faith M. Leverett; brother, Lawrence C. Schaffer; and a host of family and friends.
