Lizzie Burton was born on January 18, 1971, to Anna Burton and David Mosley Jr. and stepmother Shirley Battle. She went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2021.

Lizzie attended Seabrook Elementary School and then later Bridgeton High School.

Everyone knew Lizzie loved everyone and she raised lots of children. She enjoyed playing cards, singing and dancing. Everyone who knew, she loved to eat. Lizzie was always the life of the party and most of Cumberland County knew who she was.

Lizzie was a Resident President and a Resident Council Member at South Jersey Extended Care on Manheim Avenue in Bridgeton.

Words can't express the impact that Lizzie had on every one that came across her path. Her smile was so warm and comforting and her eyes made you feel welcomed.

She leaves to cherish her siblings; Cynthia Mosley Martin (Shane), Sabrina Mosley, David Mosley, Henrietta (Duane) Thompson all of Bridgeton, Richard (Christina) Mosley of Florida, Fred Mosley Sr., David Sease of Bridgeton, Phyllis Burton of Maryland, Willis Marlow of Bridgeton, Kisur Gonzaga Thompson of Bronx, NY, Karen Burton, Ashley Downing of Pennsylvania and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is predeceased by her paternal grandmother Odessa Mosley, paternal grandfather David Mosley Sr., maternal grandmother Alme Brown, maternal grandfather John W. Burton, father David Mosley Jr., and sister Frances Mosley.
