Marion Elizabeth Harris was born February 28, 1953, to the late James and Clara Harris in Richmond Virginia.  In the late fifties, Marion and her parents moved to New Jersey.  Being the only child, she was adored by and she adored her parents.

Marion was educated through the Woodbury School District.  Upon graduating high school, she attended Gloucester County College.  Marion started her professional career at an early age beginning at Cooper Hospital, Camden, New Jersey, Monsanto Chemical Company, Bridgeport, New Jersey and the City of Woodbury as the Assistant Municipal Financial Officer.  She retired from this position in 2020.

Marion attended Bethlehem Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her positions including being a member of the choir, Missionary, Women's Missionary, Finance Committee, Kitchen Ministry and a Trustee.

Marion peacefully departed this life on Sunday July 30, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her memories her uncles, Elmer Harris (Irene) of Jamaica, Virginia, James Bundy (Patricia) of Deptford, New Jersey and her aunt Evelyn Vaughan of Camden, New Jersey as well as a host of cousins and friends.
