Marlene Petway Moore was born in Vineland, New Jersey on October 29, 1933, and transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on July 30, 2020.

Marlene was the 15th child of Jesse and Ethel (Harmmer) Petway, the wife of the late Calvin Moore, loving mother of three girls, the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, the great-grandmother of 19 and she was blessed to be the great-great-grandmother of three.

As a stay-at-home mother for 34 years, she was active with community and school activities. When the girls were in grade school, she was sure to always be the room mother and assist as needed. Once the girls were teenagers, she and her husband started a teen "Coffee House". It was a safe place for teenagers to "hang-out" and socialize with other teens.

Marlene stayed young at heart by staying active with her family. She along with her cousin Marion, were known for baking hundreds of delicious cookies at Christmas. She spent 20 years working as a Foster Grandmother.

Marlene's strong faith in God brought her through many of life's difficult times. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Calvin, her daughter Donna, and her 14 brothers and sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Patricia Moore and Tonya Wright, seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
