Mary Christine Sydnor, 79, lived a remarkable life filled with laughter, love, and the pure joy of living. Born on April 22, 1945, in Northumberland County, Virginia, to the late Mary Francis Sydnor & BJ Armstrong, she departed this life unexpectedly on March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Affectionately known as Christine, her life and spirit radiated warmth, leaving a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A lifelong resident of Cumberland County, Christine called Port Norris, Millville, and Vineland home.
She shared a deep, loving relationship with the late Marvin D. Logan Sr. for over 60 years. Together, they traveled the world, enjoying cruises and road trips.
Christine worked over 29 years for the state of New Jersey and retired in 2007 from Woodbine Developmental State School . Her inner strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who crossed her path.
To know Christine was to know her passion for the Dallas Cowboys. She was their number one fan, proudly supporting her team throughout the year and watching every season with excitement.
Christine loved her family and made sure that everyone knew they were loved.
Christine was preceded in death by her son, James Sydnor & granddaughter Shakima Jones.
She leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories from her children, Carlton Sydnor, Willie Sydnor, Gladys Sydnor, Charles Sydnor, Vanessa Broughton-Sydnor, Margaret Ann Brown, Natasha Harriston, Efrem Sydnor & Nikita Logan; Siblings: Madeline Thompson, Joseph Maith, Warren Sydnor, Floyd Sydnor, Nettie Sydnor, Idell Sydnor-Carter, & Tamula Sydnor. She also leaves behind cherished memories with Alisha Wilson & Marvine D. Logan Jr. Travel buddies: Ms. Ida & Ms Cheryl and Special Friends & Special Port Norris Families
A host of grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Adoptive Parents: Veney & Margaret Parker; Sisters: Gladys Sydnor-Curtis & Margaret Ann Sydnor and brother: Franklin Sydnor: Adoptive sisters: Kate Jackson & Victoria Harriston.
