Matthew Nobles departed this life on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was born February 2, 1949, in Salem, New Jersey to the late John and Bessie Nobles.

Matthew was educated in the Norma and Olivet School System. He was employed at Currington Car Wash in Bridgeton, New Jersey for two years and worked for Supersonic carwash in Vineland, New Jersey for twenty years and retired! He attended church services at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Vineland, New Jersey.

He survived a train accident that left him a double amputee with other injuries. He resided at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township, New Jersey for the last 13 years.

Matthew enjoyed family and friends, watching General Hospital, Young and the Restless, going to Bridgeton Drive In, babysitting his nephews and nieces, and spending time with his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Matthew leaves to cherish his memory one brother Alan Nobles (Marilyn) of Vineland, New Jersey, one sister Eloise S. Nobles of Vineland, New Jersey, six aunts; Robin Stevenson of Dallas Texas, Nora B. Roberts, Ora B. Reaves, Pearl Reaves and Linda Reaves all of Brotmanville, New Jersey, Bertie B. Nobles of Memphis, Tennessee, one uncle Stenic Reaves (Clora) of Glassboro, New Jersey, 2 nephews; Robert Blakely Jr. (Dana) of
Millville, New Jersey, Alan Noble Jr. (Niya) of Brotmanville, New Jersey, 2 nieces; Keisha Nobles Maceia (Felisberto) of Vineland, New Jersey, Bessie Nobles Carson (Nate) of Salem, New Jersey, 18 great nephews and nieces, 6 great-great nephews and nieces. A special thanks to our brother in Christ Dennis Bundy for his kindness and love shown.

He was preceded in death by his brother John Nobles Jr., sister Charlotte Nobles and great nephew Elijah Lee Carson.
