Melvin Lawson Harris Sr. was born July 3, 1989, to Tonda and
Allen Harris.

Melvin was born and raised in South Jersey. Graduated from
Delsea Regional High School and from there, briefly served in
the United States Army. Growing up, Melvin had a heart for
God, his friends and family, and a love for basketball on and off
the court.

Melvin worked on various jobs, in various capacities
i.e., JE Berkowitz, Avantar, Kellogg's, Sea Isle Ice, and Effluent
Retrieval Services, respectively.

On January 26, 2022 Melvin passed peacefully, and his memory
lives on through his parents, Allen and Tonda Harris, his
grandfather (Pop Pop) Jesse Best Sr., and with love he is also
remembered by his wife Tiffany Harris, Jessica O'Neil, and
children (Tykeira, Triston, Melvin Jr., Jay, Aliyana), as well as
his aunts and uncles and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Melvin made his mark as a son, grandson, nephew, cousin,
father, and friend to many.

He will be remembered for his
effortless moments of humor and commitment to family and
friends. Melvin will be remembered by his family as much
adored, cherished, and beloved. Though his passing leaves many
with heavy hearts, we look forward to the day where we all will
see him again. This is not saying goodbye but see you later.
