Michael Anthony McRae was born December 4, 1967 to the late Evelyn and Luther  McNear. Michael departed this life "received his wings" on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Inspira hospital surrounded by family.

Michael graduated from Bridgeton Senior High School in 1985. He was formally employed by Bally's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ before taking ill.

In his lifetime Michael loved spending time with family at cookouts, baseball games the whole nine. Michael had a real loving people's spirit and was not afraid of too much of anything. It was often said that he would have been a great employee for the United State Beau of Investigations because he know more about you then you knew about yourself. Michael made sure he stayed connected to his family, if Michael didn't call you a minimum of five times a day, it was because you, failed to make sure he had your number.

Michael was predeceased by his great grandmother Eula Nobles, Braxton, Ga,; grandparents Omezelle and Richard McRae of Newport, NJ.; mother, Evelyn McNear; brothers, Rolando McNear "Dino", and And're Tyler "Butch"; uncles, Richard Jr, Eulis "Thomas" and John; aunts, Alberta, "Sue" and Norma Gail "Gail".

He leaves to cherish his memories, brothers, Ephraim "Cookie" of Bridgeton; Kevin (JuWana) of Bridgeton; sister, Kineshia Jamison (Bryant) of Bridgeton; uncle Robert (Anna) of Richhlands, Willie (Inez) of Gouldtown, Eugene (Mary "Sissy") of Paulsboro, Roosevelt (Diane) of Riviera Beach, FL, Shirley Manning (Bobby) of Riviera Beach, FL, Cherylton (Kim) of Richlands, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
