Monica Shonte Wesby, 34, affectionately known as "Angel", "Poodie," and "Mommy" went home to be with the Lord, on February 20, 2025. On October 25, 1990, a bundle of joy entered the world. She was born to Pastor Annie Wesby and late Pastor Johnny C. Wesby in Vineland, New Jersey.

Monica attended Vineland High School where she obtained her high school diploma. Monica also, attended A.S.I Career Institute where she became a Certified Nurse's Assistant and received Medical Assistant Certifications. Monica, also, gathered a plethora of accolades and achievements.

Above all, her greatest achievement was being a loving and devoted mother to her greatest blessings, Ashanti Jamison, and Richard Jr. Monica loved the Lord. She attended Praises Of The Lord Jesus Christ Church, where she was a member, under the Leadership of her mother, Pastor Anne Wesby. Monica was employed by Dr. Warmuth Institute Of Dermatology in Elmer, NJ for several years. Monica was the youngest of her siblings. She had an amazing sense of humor. Monica enjoyed spending time with family. She loved dancing, family karaoke and taking family road trips. Monica enjoyed visiting Florida, and Puerto Rico. Her favorite songs were, "On Time God!", "Heart Of A Woman," and loved listening to Sam Cook. Monica was easy going, empathetic, respectful, and loving. She was understanding and encouraging. Monica was God fearing. She was strong, trustworthy, selfless and nonjudgmental.

Monica was beautiful inside and out. She was sweet. She was classy and humble. Monica was a light in whom brought a sense of positivity into everyone's life whom she knew. Monica's smile was contagious and her heart was pure. Monica will truly be missed by her mother, her sisters, her brothers, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as her cousins.

Monica was preceded in death by her father, the late Pastor Johnny C. Wesby, and baby son Jeremiah Jamison.

She leaves to cherish her memories with the father of her children, Richard Jamison Sr., her two children, Ashanti and Richard Jamison Jr., her loving mother, Pastor Anne Wesby, her loving siblings, Sissy Ann(Mark)Cheatham, Chrissey(Johnathan)Thomas, Tanisha Lecator, Christopher(Shara)Forrest Jr, Johnny Wesby Jr., Derek Cole, and Naptina Broome. She leaves to cherish her memories, Godparents, Angelina(Wayne)Lecator, mother and law; Valerie Jamison, friends, Shatara, Chrystal, Shawntee, Precious, Chel, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews whom she loved all dearly. She was a loving godmother to all her godchildren.

Monica will truly be missed by all those whom she knew and whom loved her dearly.
