Oscar Roland Thomas, born March 7, 1958, in Bridgeton, NJ, to the late Mary Ann Bryant and stepdad Bobby Bryant. He gained his wings on October 2, 2025.

Oscar attended Bridgeton High School in Bridgeton, NJ. After graduating he worked with the City of Bridgeton as a custodian most of his life. He would always talk about his daughter and how much he loved her.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Zone McKenzie Mills Griffin, four brothers: John Paul Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Robert Bryant, and Lorne Bryant, 3 aunts: Beulah Farrow and husband James Farrow, Gerldine Ross, Lorraine Nichols and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandpop the late Charles E. Nichols and wife Mary Ann Brown Nichols, step grandmom Gladys Nichols, five aunts: Laura Nichols Hannah, Alberta Holley, Dorothy Best, Mildred Nichols and Eva Nichols and 4 uncles Charles Nichols, Jr, Herbert Nichols, Edward Nichols and James Nichols.
