Pamela sadly departed this life on November 9. 2024, at the age of 61. Pamela accepted Christ as her personal Savior before she went home with the Lord. Born in Bridgeton. NJ on October 27,1963. to parents, the late Donald W. Jackson, Sr. and the late Edith, J. Jackson.
Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother sister, aunt cousin and friend. Pam had one of the biggest hearts and a smile that could light up a room. She would give the clothes off her back, the food off her table going above and beyond to make sure everyone she loved did not go without. Pam loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also loved to cook and shop. Pam was a trusted friend and confidant. someone that you could go to for help.
Pamela was a lifelong resident of Bridgeton, graduating from Bridgeton High School in 1982. Pam retired after 27 years of service working as a secretary for the Vineland Developmental Center. She also served as a secretary with the Gouldtown Fire Department, the Fairfield Township Recreation Committee, and the Environmental Committee of Fairfield Township.
Pam was predeceased by her parents and her sister Sharon D. Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her only child, James A. Mack IV, his sons Jay'Veon and Jaxson, his daughters Jaziyrah, Jazae, and JayLani all of Bridgeton. Her brother, Donald, Jr.. nieces and nephews Donald, II, Chelsea, Jalesha, Jahlil, Ebony, Jordyn, Jadyn. Azarial. Her best friend, Janet Childers-Peterson (Wilie), alfectionately acknowledged as "Sister", goddaughter Amber Childers Peterson, and grand goddaughters, NaLiyah and Na'Laysia Childers who affectionately called her Mima her cousin-friends Stephanie and Valerie great nieces great nephews, bonus daughter Dishawna Scurry, Nico her pet companion, and a host of family and friends.
