Parthenia Sara Giles 93 of Salem passed peacefully at home on March 20, 2020. She was born November 15, 1926 in Salem to the late Bessie (Waters) and Percy Giles. She was a lifetime resident of the area.

She retired after 30 years from Anchor Hocking and later was employed as an Attendance Officer for Board of Education, Salem.

She was predeceased by her niece Marpessa Kupendua and sister Rev. Nyada Clarke.

She is survived by her loving niece and caregiver, Roxanne Bunting; devoted Cousin Patricia McElveen; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will have a private burial.
