Pastor Elizabeth Bowman, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away on
Tuesday morning, February 18, 2014. She died in her sleep while resting
at home with her daughter, Loretta Downing and family.

Mrs. Bowman was 90
years old, born October 18, 1923 in Vance, South Carolina. In 1942 she
met and married John Bowman. In the late 1950's she and her family
relocated to Rosenhayn, N.J., where they resided for five years, and in
1961 they settled in Vineland, N.J. and has resided there until her death.

Elizabeth was dedicated to her Church and family where she touched
many lives. She leaves behind siblings, John Bowman, Jr. (Patricia);
Elder Thomas Bowman (Sharon); Vernetta Higginbotham (William
"Billy"); Barbara Kollock (Elder Sidney Kollock]: Mathew Bowman
(Florence); Loretta Downing (Pastor Robert Downing); Allan Bowman;
and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, cousins, her beloved sister, and
special cousin Marie "Doll" Evans, along with church members who love
her dearly.

Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 10am at Chestnut Assembly of God Chestnut Ave. Vineland where family and friends may attend a viewing 2 hours prior to services. There will be a viewing Friday evening at Refuge Church Pine St. Rosenhayn 6-8p. Interment will be in the Siloam Cemetery Vineland.
