Pastor Thelma S. Brown age 99 of Newport departed this life on April 14, 2021 in Newark, DE.  She was born on April 23, 1922 in Orangeburg, SC to Fannie Mae and Stan Moore Slater.

She was former Pastor of Unity Fellowship in Millville.

She was predeceased by her husband Alonzo Brown, Sr. in 2007.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Curtis Johnson (Annette), James L. Brown (Iris), Fannie Arlene Pierce, Jerry Brown (Linda) and Alonzo Brown, Jr.; 20 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, family and friends.
