Patricia Ida Bishop, age 87, transitioned to her heavenly home on January 19, 2021, peacefully in her sleep at home in Cedarville where she resided with her granddaughter, Calvina Wallop, (Fiancée, William Ashby), and her great-grandchildren.
Patricia was born on May 1, 1933, to the late Henry and Alice Whitaker, in North Carolina. Patricia was raised in North Carolina, where she attended public school. She then relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was employed at Miss Paul's Company, until she found employment as a Nurses
Aide for Black Private Duty. As her health declined she relocated to Cedarville, NJ, with her granddaughter Calvina.
Patricia, affectionately known as "MaMa", Aunt Pat and Pat, loved Music and having a good time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite colors were lavender and silver. She loved to dress and was a great cook.
Patricia is survived by one son, Kenneth Jerome Brown Sr., of Darby PA, one sister, Brenda Naomi Whitaker, of Darby, PA, four grandchildren, Kashaad Ali Brown, Kenneth Jerome Brown II, Calvina Ebonie Wallop, and Reginald Fuller Sr., Seventeen great grandchildren, Aaron Xavier Taylor Jr., Anyanna Ahsaki Taylor, Aquil N. Taylor, Keshawn S. Bell, John D. Wallop III, Jeremy M. Wallop, Jayden X. Wallop, Jon'nay S. Wallop, Kenneth D. Mack, Nahzir Brown, Jahnay Giddens, Legend Brown, Reginald D. Fuller Jr., Shayunna J. Fuller, Harmoni S. Fuller, Brooke M. Fuller. Three Nieces, Sabrina Whitaker, Antionette Whitaker, Renee Whitaker, five nephews, Christopher Stewart, Gary Stewart, Billel El, George Whitaker Jr., and Frank Matthews. Two Special cousins Joseph Lions and Catherine Littlejohn, and a host of family and friends.
Patricia is predeceased by, daughter Jonita D. Warren, son Reginald Fuller, brother George Whitaker, sister Linda Whitaker and Granddaughter Lekisha S. Bell.
