Patricia Lee
Hambrick Magill
January 31, 1954 – March 14, 2025
Patricia (affectionately known as Pat to most) was born in Lake City, Florida January 31, 1954 to Mary Eva and the late Milton Hambrick. On March 14, 2025 at 1:57am surrounded by family and a golden light that shined bright and Pat gained her wings and flew away.
Pat was educated in the Columbia County School System and attended college in Jacksonville Florida. Shortly after college Pat moved to New Jersey. Pat worked for Wheaton Industries until her health declined.
Pat was married to Stewart Magill and together they adopted daughter Jamiya.
Pat was an avid bowler, world traveler, enjoyed making potato salad for BBQ's, played softball, was active in her community and church. Pat enjoyed watching all sports, however when it came to football she LOVED to watch her favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. You would think she was the coach the way she would yell, scream and holler at the television, and moving furniture around (she could not keep still). If she could have, she would have jumped in the television to run the plays herself! Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing, watching Sisters on BET, dancing and just watching all of the family shenanigans unfold.
Pat was a proud member of the Eastern Stars. In her home church of St James Pat was a member of the choir, usher, and trustee. Pat would jump in and volunteer her services wherever help was needed and was happy to do so. Pat remained active participating virtually when her health started to decline. She would log on for Sunday School, Sunday Service, Bible Study and Prayer meeting often times forgetting to mute her phone!
Pat leaves behind to celebrate her life and mourn her passing her daughter Jamiya, mother Mary Eva, Sisters Nadine (Leroy), Avon, Linda (Bobby), Gertrude and Earnestine. Brothers Howard (Janie), Lucky, and Edward (Lola) and God Son Kenny Cole. Pat also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pat is predeceased by her father Milton Hambrick, brothers Willie James, Jerome Reed, and Tommy Hambrick, and best friends Emma Jean Bryant, Georgia Harris and Mattie.
