Retha Mae Dyess, daughter of the late Vander and Laura (Blackwell) Mc Farland and widow of Ralph Dyess, departed this life of Monday, December 31, while a patient at Inspira Medical Center Woodbury, NJ.

Mrs. Dyess was born January 20, 1941 in MeBee, SC and resided in Paulsboro, NJ moving there from Mizpah, NJ. She retired from Camden Co. Vocational Technical School in 2002. She was a member of St. John AME Zion Church of Mizpah where she was an Usher, Choir Member and Conference Delegate.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter Paula (Henry) C. Hinton; siblings Vander H. McFarland, SR, Margaret Ferguson and Edna Mallory; 2 grandchildren Tatiana and Zachary Raphael; other relatives and friends.
