May 8, 1946 – April 23, 2021
On May 8, 1946, Clarence L. Wilson Sr. and Mabel E. Gross Wilson were blessed with their 13th child, Robert N. Wilson. Robert was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, godfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, throughout his life he was affectionately known as "Bobby" and "Possum".
Robert accepted and loved The Lord. He grew up in Ephesus Pentecostal Church (now Tabernacle of Praise). At the time of his death, he was an active member of Spirit Life Fellowship in Salem, NJ.
Robert was educated in the Mannington Township School District and graduated from Salem High School in 1964. While in school, he played both baseball and basketball. He was a competitive all-around athlete. He also enjoyed shooting pool and bowling. "Bobby" played baseball for the "YG's" (Young Generation) softball team. He was an avid sports fan, everyone knew that he was a diehard Philadelphia 76ers, Eagles and Chicago Cubs fan.
Robert served our country honorably during the Vietnam War as a part of the United States Army. He worked for and retired from BF Goodrich.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Monique Wilson. Daughters Evelyn West (Wayne) and Tiffany Morman (James). Grandchildren Sharay Carter, Tiara Carter, Joshua Morman and Janae Morman. Great-grandchildren Melquisedec Fundora Jr., Ryan Davis, Mariah Fundora and Jacob Fundora. Siblings: William (Mary) Wilson Sr., Mary Brown, Betty (Daniel) Toland, Elaine Smith, Elmer (Mary) Wilson, Evelyn (Charles Jr.) Porter and Doris (Robert) Smith. Sister-In Laws: Marie Wilson, Carole Wilson, and Brenda Wilson. Bobby's company will be greatly missed daily by neighbors who became family Sheila Gibson, Hattie Morris, and Debbie Pope.
"Bobby" was loved and will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
