Roger D. Sye age 64 of Salem departed this life on March 2, 2019 in Golden Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born on December 11, 1954 in Yorktown, NJ to Doris J. Sye and Samuel Hill. Coming from North Carolina, he was a resident of the are for five years.

He was formerly employed as a Janitorial Worker for John Draper Cleaning.

He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Hill and mother Doris J. Sye Denby.

He is survived by his sons, Roger Lockhart and Joshua Patterson; daughter, Dellevia Shockley-Kornegay; six grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse Walker, Jr (Sharon) and Robert Walker (Crystal); two sisters, Rose Taylor and Maxine Sye; and a host of family and friends.
