Ronald W.
Simmons
February 16, 1963 – May 15, 2025
Ronald Wayne Simmons was born on February 16, 1963, and passed away at his home on May 15, 2025. A proud father, loving grandfather, loyal brother, and cherished friend, Ronald's life was filled with love, laughter, and a presence that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Ronald spent an important part of his earlier life in the catering and hospitality field, most memorably at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, New Jersey. He held many roles there—including event coordinator and server—and brought care and heart to everything he did. He also briefly worked as a truck driver, but his true gift was in making people feel welcomed and appreciated, wherever he was.
Ronald's laugh was unforgettable—loud, infectious, and able to lift spirits in an instant. His smile lit up every room, and his sense of humor made him the heart of any gathering. A dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan, Ronald could often be found cheering on his team with passion and pride.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Simmons (Brown), and their four daughters: Tiara Brown, Astin Simmons, Reyhauna Yates (John), and Dazra Simmons. Ronald was a proud grandfather to Anais Brown, Amiyah Brown, Jaiyoni Yates, Raniya Ramsey, Jonathan Yates Jr., Kannon Garcia, and Jream Yates, with one more grandchild, Alo Williams, on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Willie Simmons, and siblings Richard, Vicki, and Brian Simmons(Syvella). Champion rivers(Carol). Ronald is survived by his siblings Keith(Crystal), Michael(Sara), Darryl(Kindra), and Roxanne Simmons, and leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Ronald's legacy lives on through the love he gave, the memories he created, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He will be remembered always—with laughter, warmth, and love.
