Russell E Butts Jr., age 64 gained his wings Friday September 20, 2019. He was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey to the late Russell Sr. and Jean Butts on January 30, 1955. He attended Bridgeton Public Schools.

Russell was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton NJ and graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1973. Russell enjoyed playing sports and hanging out with his friends growing up. Russell worked in manufacturing before becoming limited in the work force. Russell was a family man he truly enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Where he often stated, "blood is thicker than mud" & "it's a family affair". Russell liked to say rhymes where he enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams the DALLAS COWBOYS & the Los Angles Lakers. Russell often stated he was the number 1 Dallas cowboy fan and he backed it up, as we all know. Russell really enjoyed shopping at Cowtown, Walmart, and the outlets in Atlantic City. Russell was one of the most honest & kindest people you could ever meet; he opened his heart & himself up to everyone.

He leaves to cherish his brother Stephen Butts (Bridgeton, NJ), Sister Deborah Ferebee (David) Clayton, NJ and sister Rochelle Noble Danquah (Eugene) of Michigan. He also leaves to, cherish three nieces Takwana Butts (Clayton, NJ), Desiree Davis (James) Clayton, NJ. Jaimi Danquah (Michigan). Two nephews Stephen Butts Jr. (Seabrook, NJ) and Yao Asante Danquah (Michigan). A loving Aunt Florence Louise Butts  (Georgia) and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
