Sander Moore, Sr. departed this Life, Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey.
He was born on December 17, 1955 to the late William Weathers and Annie B. Moore in Tutwiler, Mississippi. He attended elementary school and graduated from Coahama County High School.
Sander relocated and moved to New Jersey in 1976 and on July 9, 1977, married Pearl Pernell, Jr. From this union is one son, Sander Moore, Jr. (Booter).
He had various occupations over his lifetime. He was a sports fan and the Eagles was his team. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and watching TV. Some of his favorite shows were westerns and things about nature. His favorite show was called "How It Is Made". He liked repairing automobiles, and small electrical appliances. Sander's favorite Bible passage was Romans 8:1-15. Last year during a hospital visit from Apostle Roma Allen, Sander accepted Jesus as his personal savior.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Pearl T. Moore, two sons: Sander Denton of Mississippi and Sander Moore, Jr. (Booter) of Bridgeton, New Jersey; one goddaughter Shena Evans; two brothers: William Moore (Sonny), Eddie Moore (Eedwinie); two sisters: Dorothy Moore, Joyce Ann Moore; two aunts: Bernice Newman, Delores Doss; sisters-in-law: Marcella Moore, Elder Catherine Pernell, Elder Arlene Holden, Mittie Williams, Geneva Holmes; brothers-in-law: Lawrence Pernell (Louise), Noble Wainwright (Lorraine), Roger Washington; seven grandchildren: SaMildredia Johnson (Travis) Deshundra Denton, Deshun Denton, Koren Denton, Mackenzie Moore, Zhi'Keerion Cooper Moore, Brayshun Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sander was predeceased by two brothers: Tommy and Wallace Moore, one sister Mary Louise Ashley and one great grandchild.
