Sarah Roberta Bell age 83 was born June 6, 1938, in Port Norris, New Jersey to the late Robert Cornish and Delsie Beatrice Davis. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Inspira Hospital, Vineland, NJ.

Sarah was educated in the Port Norris School system and completed her education at Millville Senior High School. She accepted Christ in her life as a youth at John Wesley Methodist Church of Port Norris under the leadership of the Reverend John H. Bishop.

She later married Ernest Bell and out of that union was born two daughters. She was employed at the Val Mode sewing factory in Bridgeton, but her joy was being a loving parent to her children.

Due to her failing health Sarah became a resident of Cumberland Manor in Hopewell where she faithfully attended the worship services provided for the residence there each week.

Sarah leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Deanna (Jason) Norris of Millville, NJ; four grandsons: Leonard Williams, Jr., Jonathan Bell, Jr., Jquan Norris all of Millville, NJ, and Ernest Bell of Bridgeton, NJ; 4 granddaughters: Latoya Bell of Port Norris, NJ, Latesha Bell, of Vineland, NJ, Breanna Carey and Janaezha Norris of Millville, NJ; 3 great-grandson: Leonard B. Williams and Jayden Williams of Vineland, NJ, and Makai Randolph of Virginia; 2 sisters, Helen Zigler of Bridgeton and Lillian Green of Oakland, California; a favorite niece Reverend Maxine (Reverend Troy Thomas) of Tennessee, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earnest Bell; daughter, Daphine Bell; mother Delsie (Sidney) Barnes; father, Robert Cornish; sister, Patricia Cornish; and nephew Gordan Brooks.
