Shanell Lasherie Mendez, 37, of Woodstown left this life suddenly on February 27, 2022.

Born July 20, 1984, at Salem Hospital in Mannington, NJ, Shanell has been an area resident all of her life. She was the daughter of Amanda Mendez of Mullica Hill, and Anthony Corbin of Penns Grove, NJ. She was raised in Woodstown by Amanda and her "Bonus Father" Eric Ferrer Sr. of Woodstown, NJ.

She is survived by her siblings Anthony Mendez (Faith) of Ravenna, OH; Jasmine Ferrer, Woodstown, NJ; Travis Gibson, Penns Grove, NJ; Eric R. Ferrer, Jr, Woodstown, NJ; Eriqua R. Ferrer, Woodstown, NJ; Eusebio R. Ferrer (Alexis), Warren, OH; her paternal grandmother, Virginia Corbin, Penns Grove, NJ; her children Shiann Robinson, Jayonna, Shania, Samara, Shonna, Shaylen, Chanell, Joshua, Shakira, and one grandchild, Yasiya Robinson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
