Shirlene (Drummond) Harris was born June 11, 1957 at Cooper Hospital at Camden, NJ to Livesta Drummond.  She departed this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

She grew up in Glassboro most of her life attending Glassboro Public Schools, graduating from Glassboro High School in 1975. After graduating, Shirlene took a job at a nursing home because of her love for helping others.  In 1978, she started working for the Glassboro Board of Education where she retired in 2017 and worked for The Training School of Vineland, NJ for 10 years.

In 1978, Shirlene married the love of her life Bobby Harris, Sr. From this union two children were born Chanell and Bobby Harris, Jr. Shirlene loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending quality time with them.  She enjoyed taking trips, watching her soap operas and attending church. Shirlene accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age. She worshipped at The Church of Living God, after marriage, the United House of Prayer for all People, Shiloh Baptist Church and Faith Fellowship Church.

Some of Shirlene's favorite sayings are "Get out of here", "Whaaaaaat" and "Do you know what I'm saying?".

Shirlene leaves to cherish her memories; two children Chanelle and Bobby Harris, Jr; three grandchildren Kanye, Ryan and Celeste' Camille; her mother Livesta Drummond; two brothers Leander Drummond and Edward Drummond (Connie); three close sisters-in-law Priscilla, Brenda and Mary; one special uncle Anderson "June" Davis (Cookie), godchildren Jasiah, Raquel and Aryanna: a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

Shirlene was preceded in death by her husband Elder Bobby Harris Sr; mother and father-in-law Betty Gillespie and Robert Harris; brothers in law, Jerry and Steve: and godchild Duane Thomas.
