Shirley Ann Brown, daughter of the late Edward and Helen May Nichols was born January 26, 1943 in Bridgeton, NJ. She was the widower of the late Dave Brown of Bridgeton, NJ.

Shirley attended Bridgeton High School where she graduated. As a child she attended Bethel A.M.E. Church in Springtown, NJ where she attended Sunday School. In her adulthood she joined Union Baptist Temple where she worked faithfully on the Kitchen Committee. Shirley was employed at Bally’s Casino until retirement. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and doing puzzles. During her lifetime Shirley helped raise her great niece Denise and nephew Jermaine Ford.

She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, and her great nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her mother Helen Nichols, sister Doris Ford, brother Clarence Nichols.
