Stephen W. Jones, the son of the late Elnora Jones and William Jones, was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on December 26, 1974. He departed this life on Sunday, July 7, 2019.
Stephen attended Cherry St. Elementary School. The family later moved to Pittsgrove, NJ in 1980. He then attended Olivet Elementary School and Schalick High School in Pittsgrove. He later achieved his G.E.D.
A diverse individual, Stephen held a variety of positions (occupations?). He started his career as a construction worker with a local union. His independent spirit lead him to pursue a variety small business ventures such as landscaping and metal hauling. Stephen worked as a bouncer at various nightclubs to supplement his business ventures. He also drove a school bus for Sheppard for short time.
He loved the Lord. Stephen attended various churches but his home church was always Refuge Church of Christ.
Stephen W. Jones had a heart of gold. He loved to hang-out with friends and was well liked. He would often open his home to friends in need. Stephen had an appreciation for the arts. He loved to draw and paint. He was a great musician playing the drums better than his brother, Mark could play a piano. He had a gifted singing voice as well.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three brothers, Larry(Barbara) Jones of Waterbury, CT; Roderick Jones of Vineland, NJ; and Mark(Patricia) Jones of Marlton, NJ; two sisters Cynthia Jones of Cary, NC; and Carol Calloway of Harrisburg, PA.; four aunts, six uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews, a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, and two great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elnora Jones and William Jones; one brother Henry Jones; two sisters Fannie Davis and Donna Jones.
