Steven Clay Thompson affectionately known as "Rat Nose" was born March 17, 1969 to the late Alberta Thompson Pierce and Henry Davis and raised in Rosenhayn, NJ. On January 2, 2026 he passed unexpectedly while rehabilitating at Genesis.

Steven was educated at Cumberland Regional in which he played any sport with a ball. Many knew if he had a ball in his hand you weren't stopping him!  Whether it was football, basketball or baseball he was great at it all. Even received a scholarship for football before injuring his knee in a car accident.

Steven will be missed and leaves to cherish his memory of his only child, Tiffanie Thompson-Thomas and only grandchild Jamar Lee Dixon Jr. His stepfather Kenneth Pierce, sister Sharon (Wesley) Thompson and brother Jake Thompson. His brother from another mother Tyrone Jones along with a host of other siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Steven was predeceased by his mother Alberta Thompson, father Henry Davis, brother Joseph Gary Thompson, and grandmother Anniebell Scarbrough.
