Terrence Rodell
Allen
May 11, 1966 – November 6, 2025
Terrence Rodell "Tat" Allen, age 59, of Olympia, Washington, departed this life on November 6,
2025. Born on May 11, 1966, in Bridgeton Hospital, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of the
late Dorothy Allen Williams and Apostle Roma D. Allen, Sr.
Terrence was educated in the Pittsgrove Township Public School system until relocating with his
family to Texas. After graduating from Pearland High School, he proudly served his country in
the United States Army. His desire to understand and uplift others led him to study psychology at
Grays Harbor College—an interest that carried into both his personal life and professional
pursuits. Throughout his career, Terrance served in several management positions, where he was widely
admired for his leadership, work ethic, and steady, compassionate presence. His influence
reached many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
"Tat" found joy in simple pleasures. He loved movies, traveling, and spending time near the
ocean—especially the peace of the beach. These were moments where he felt most free and
fulfilled.
Terrence leaves to cherish his life and legacy his father, Apostle Roma D. Allen, Sr., and mother,
Pastor Lillian Allen; his father, Pastor Newton Williams; brothers Isiah Johnson, Calvin (Crystal)
Allen of Clear Lake, TX, Timothy Young of Millville, NJ, Kenneth (Breona) Allen of
Swainsboro, GA, Jerome (Taneisha) Allen of Brotmanville, NJ, Roma Dell Allen, Jr.
(Cassandra), of Swainsboro, GA and brother/cousin, Dwight (Takeia) Burnett of Ellicott City,
MD; sisters Sharlene Williams Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, and Sharon Lester of Glassboro, NJ;
and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Allen Williams; his siblings, Raymond Dell
Allen, Sr., Matthew Williams, and Michel'le Williams; nephew, Raymond Dell "Baby
Raymond" Allen, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lonnie Allen; maternal grandparents,
Namon Wilson and Johnny Mae Holmes and Mabel McCloud and Ervin Stevenson, Sr.; and two
uncles, Luis "Cigar" Ray Allen and Raymond T. Allen.
Terrence's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a gift,
his presence a blessing, and his legacy endures
