Thomas Nolan Royster Jr. blessed us with his presence on April 6 1958 in Philadelphia pa. to Alberta Bunting and Thomas Royster Sr. Thomas moved from Pa to Salem NJ, Eatontown NJ then Lakewood NJ .He grew into a young man as he attended and graduated from elementary and middle school in NJ. He then attended high school at Monmouth Regional High where he played football.
He joined the army where he graduated high school and receive his high school diploma through the army. He served his country from 1977 to 1978 where he received a Honorable discharge. After he got out of the service he trained as a cook in Atlantic City NJ. He then worked at the Lakewood Elks, and various jobs. He took his love for cooking to Medicenter nursing home in Lakewood NJ. Thomas was Baptized in the late 80's at Shiloh Baptist Church in Manasquan NJ.
Thomas went on to receive several recognition certificates from different organizations. Thomas enjoyed all types of music from Jill Scott, Guru , Groove Theory to Biggie Smalls and Tupac. He love TV one where he enjoyed The Andy Griffin show Mash, Sandford and Son just to name a few but as we all know his favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz. Thomas loved family gatherings he loved to laugh he was the life of whatever party was happening. He was a jokester with a great sense of humor. Over the last 7 to 8 yrs Thomas became ill and never really got better.
Thomas leaves this world to his mother Alberta Bunting-Royster of Pennsauken NJ . His dad Thomas Nolan Royster Sr. of Maryland. His brother Keith Royster Sr. and his sister n law Victoria Royster of Whiting NJ. Thomas leaves his kids Jouran Reeves of Toms River NJ, Thomas and Terrance Bergstrom of Lakewood NJ, Clarissa Alfaro of Alexandria VA, Terrel Stroud of Long Branch NJ and Teana Royster- Sesler of Neptune NJ. Thomas also leaves a niece Candace Royster of Toms River and a nephew Keith Royster Jr of Winter Haven FL. He leaves a host of great nieces and nephews, grandchildren family and friends.
