Waddell Hannah Sr., age 68 passed from labor to reward on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Veteran's Community Living Center in Philadelphia, PA. Waddell was born on June 27, 1952. He was the son of Lewis Hannah and Essie Mae (Boose) Hannah. He was educated in Weymouth Township Public School Systems and graduated from Vineland High School in 1972. As a student he was on the wrestling team and won State championship as a Junior wrestler. Most of all he loved to play football and was a gymnast. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia, EAGLES.
After graduation he enlisted into the Air Force where served his country from 1972 to 1974 in the Vietnam war.
Waddell worked for and excelled as a body and fender technician and took pride in his work. He also was a cherished member of the Germantown community keeping busy with maintaining the grounds of two apartment complexes where he lived. Waddell was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Waddell leaves to cherish his memories, a wife Lilliam, one son Wendell Hannah and a daughter Yolanda Martin. Three grandchildren Keoni Hannah, Wandile Hannah and Negewai Hannah; A loving mother, Essie Mae Hannah (Boose). Five brothers, Stanley Hannah (Cynthia); Lewis Hannah (Tracey); Anthony Hannah (Francita); Albert Hannah (Tina); Joseph Hannah (Deanna). Five sisters, Daisy Hannah; Dianne Stalling; Mary Clement; Darlene Collins and Noel Hannah. One aunt, Geneva (Boose) Johnson who was his first baby sitter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
