Walter T. Williams Sr. was born June 7, 1946 in Bridgeton, NJ, to the late Norman and Mary Williams. He departed this life on January 25, 2021 at Vineland Inspira. Walter was one of 13 children.

He attended Deerfield, Gouldtown and the Bridgeton Public Schools. Walter earned his GED, and diploma for auto mechanic school in 1984. Walter was employed by Owens Illinois, Star fertilizer Plant, Minots, Four Star and retired from Newshire Forms, all of Bridgeton. On June 25, 1994 he married his wife, Brenda Jones Williams. Walter has three sons and four daughters.

He enjoyed listening to gospel, The Canton Spirituals, Williams Brothers' and others. He watched all football games but was and Philadelphia Eagles fan. He once owned and R.T. and enjoyed racing cars. His frequent/daily phone calls were to Bert (Buddy) Broughton, Marlene Williams, Frances Jones, Viola Glenn, Larry Williams, Clarence, Anthony, Butch Benjamin, Charles Spencer, Alexander Williams, Dell Logan and Manual Johnson. He loved his family outings, shooting pool, recording movies, watching soap opera and every Tuesday night, UBT Broadcast. He was a lifelong resident of Bridgeton and raised up in True vine Pentecostal Church. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at UBT years ago.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories his wife Brenda Jones Williams, 3 sons; Walter T. Williams Jr. (Sprewell), Tyrone and Jaheim Williams all of Bridgeton, NJ, 4 daughters; Latia and Labria Williams of Bridgeton, NJ, Stacy Williams of Sicklerville, NJ, Versey (Anthony) Carter of Franklinville, NJ, 5 children he helped raise as his own, grandsons; Latrell and Nazir Williams, niece Shamyra Brown (Jamere) Mosley, 2 nephews; Reginald Holly Jr. and Tawaun Jones, 5 godchildren; La'Teona Johnson, De'ontrail Brown, Ceriah Jones, Khalil Sudler, Messiah Torres, one brother Larry (Felicia) Williams of North Carolina, one sister Evangelist Bertha (Morris) Broughton, of Bridgeton, mother-in-law Mary Frances Jones, 4 brothers-in-law; Kevin (Wanda) and Purman Jones of Bridgeton, Curtis Jones of Texas, Cyril English of Jamaica, 6 sisters-in-law, Nanette, Denise, Gwen Jones, Doris (Victor) Cunningham, Marlene Williams all of Bridgeton, Henrietta Lingo of Columbia, SC, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great greatgrandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Mary Williams, 5 brothers; Norman Jr., Edward, Gerald, Melvin, Arthur, 5 sisters; Dora Glenn, Rhodella Sudler, Priscilla Smith, Rosie Williams, Beverly English, father-in-law Lacy Henry Jones Sr., 4 brothers-in-laws; Lacey Henry Jones Jr., Dwayne Lingo, Willie Glenn Sr., Norman Smith, close friend; Earl Benjamin.
