William A. Garrison was born on April 7 ^th , 1956 to Gracie Mae Gunther (Figueroa) and Ismal Figueroa.  William, affectionately known as "Will Daddy", departed this life and gained his heavenly wings on Friday, November 13, 2020.

William went to school in Glassboro, N.J.  He later met his wife and lifelong best friend, Dorothy Scurry. They were joined in marriage on August 27th, 1983, and  resided in Rosenhayn, NJ.  He worked construction for many years until his health started to decline. He worked for Local 222 in Camden, NJ.  He loved his job, and he had many stories to tell all the time.

In his spare time, you could always find him at all the family functions playing cards, listening to music, laughing, talking trash to everyone, and dancing.  William loved to watch cowboy westerns, soap operas, and Steve Harvey.  He was a passionate Washington Redskins fan. No matter how many times his team lost, he always was a loyal fan. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandpop.  He was his kids and grandkids number one fan.  They could always find him in the stands or bleachers yelling, screaming, and cheering them on.  He was a great people person, and everyone loved him. He will be missed by everyone for his laughs, jokes, and outgoing personality.

He was predeceased by his mother Gracie Mae Figueroa, mother-in-law Dorothy Simpson, father-in-law Jerome Wright, and his brother Lewis Garrison.  His life will for eternity be cherished by his wife Dorothy A. Garrison; his five children: William C. Rowe Sr, Jermaine (Karen) Scurry, Lencola Jones, Paulette (Sean) Nelson, and Tydell Garrison (Tiarra Gray);   his 12 grandchildren; his father Ismal Figueroa; his brother Edward Garrison; his sister Patricia Nobles; his sister-in-law Sarah Parker; his uncle George Gunther; and a host of devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
