Horace, Sr.
September 25, 1944 – March 13, 2026
William (Bill) Anthony Horace was born on September 25, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late James and Virginia Horace.
He attended the Philadelphia school system. He was employed by Prudential Insurance company as a Lead Insurance agent. He also served as a production analyst at Texaco and Sunoco and as a water treatment specialist at DuPont.
Bill was a dedicated deacon at Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey where he assisted with the weekly soup kitchen. Bill also enjoyed spending time with family, taking cruises. eating at the Chinese buffet, doing yard work, and telling stories about Lock Nock. He enjoyed bowling in a league. Bill was the captain of the championship winning Bethany baseball league.
William leaves behind a legacy of love and a family that will miss him dearly. William leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of forty-eight years, Virginia Horace, sister Diane Streets, children William Horace, Jr. (Linda), Arlene Horace, Lisa Pollard, Michael Horace (Janice), Dianna Hester, Tracey Simmons, Jethro Brown (Christina), Renee Carter, Milton Brown, and Shantee Horace Davis (Dawoo). A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two goddaughters, and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his brother James Horace.
