Willie L. Kirkland Sr. was born November 7, 1960, in Salem, NJ.  He departed his earthly life on Friday, July 8, 2022, in Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ.

Willie was the son of the late Gladys Kirkland and Charles Withers.  Willie was also a guardian angel with the Guardian Angels of New York.  Willie was always trying to help anyone he can, and he would volunteer in anyway he knew how.  Willie attended Salem High School, Salem, NJ.  He was employed by the City of Millville Streets and Road Department from where he retired.  Willie enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family.

Willie leaves surviving him his wife of 15 years, Debra Kirkland; seven children with Runell Kirkland of Bridgeton, NJ: Rasheeda Fowler of Wilmington, DE, Willie Kirkland Jr. of PA, Odyssey Kirkland of GA, Sophia Kirkland, Essence Kirkland, Shanyya Kirkland all of Millville, NJ and Shaleeika Kirkland of Wilmington, DE; three step-children, DeShauna (Dee) Burrell, James Henry both of Sicklerville, NJ and Destiny Henry of Clayton, NJ; 18 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Williams of Salem, NJ, Charles Kirkland and Aaron Williams of Bridgeton, NJ; two sisters, Bobbie Ward of Elmer, NJ and Matrica (Pat) Jones of Garner, NC; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Williams and Dorothy Kirkland of Salem, NJ; one brother-in-law, Ferdinand Ward Jr. of Elmer, NJ; two aunts, Marie Harris of NY, Dempsy Hutto of Mobile, AL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Willie is predeceased by three brother Samuel (Small) Williams, Johnny Kirkland, Jerome (Scrappy) Kirkland and one sister Leslie Pitts.
