Yasmen R. Oliver's Obituary

Yasmen Rachelle Jones- Was born November 1, 1970 to the late Carol Jones and Frank Pierce in Bridgeton, NJ.  She attended both Bridgeton and Vineland public school systems and was a cheerleader in high school.

Yasmen was well known throughout Cumberland and Camden Counties and parts of Lynchburg, Va.; depending on where you were from you either called her "YAS" or "TINY" affectionately.  Yasmen was able to enter a room of strangers and leave with everyone knowing her name.  She loved people, laughing, playing spades, cooking Sunday dinner and talking junk but there was nothing that could top her love for her family.  One of Yasmen's best qualities was being able to move past disagreements and not hold a grudge.

Yasmen wore many hats during her years but being a caretaker came naturally.  She enjoyed caring for the elderly and children. If someone was in need Yasmen would give you the little she had to help. No matter what you did for Yas she was very appreciative.  No gift or act of service towards her was ever too small.

Yas was the coolest aunt to eight nieces, three nephews, three great nieces and three great nephews.  Yas was so much fun that her friend's children named her "Auntie" as well.

Yas was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Annabel Jones, maternal grandfather Lonnie Jones, special grandmother Estelle Johnson, paternal grandfather Howard Pierce Sr, and Uncle Howard Pierce Jr.

Yasmen leaves to cherish her memories her "Pooh Bear" Charles Braxton, Big Sis Lernell(Michael) of Vineland, Baby Sis Kesha(Kevin) Hawkins of Texas, one & only Brother Yaphette R.(Cassandra) Jones of Millville, Aunt Doreen Jones of Camden, Aunt Linda Walker of Maryland, Aunt Helen(Stan) Hopkins of Delaware, Uncle Olin(Joanne) Pierce, Uncle Leroy (Crystal) Pierce, Uncle Anthony(Barbara) Pierce and her paternal grandmother (her twin) Marion Pierce all of Bridgeton, NJ.  Her god father Andrew White & special friends Kathy, Irene, Janice, Stephen, Kativa, Marlo, Dana, Fats and a host and we do mean HOST of friends and cousins too great to name.
